The forest in Lakeshore Woods near where I live is alive with colour. The spring flowers are all in bloom, which is rare since usually one blooms first which is the Blue Scilla or Scilla Siberia. Then the others follow.
Then the White and Red Trilliums, Trout Lillies and Bloodroot.
I was able to photograph a Green Metallic Sweat Bee that flew into view to pollenate this Bloodroot.
Then the Purple Violets come after everything else if finished which is usually nearer the end of May.
